Phil Sande
Chief Canuck Born and raised slope side in the mountains of Quebec, Phil’s passion for skiing and the outdoors led him to Colorado where he raced NCAA and graduated with a degree in Ski Area Management and Operations. After building the lifts at Beaver Creek and then heading north to manage the chairlift construction for the Calgary Olympic Games, Phil launched Couloir Ski Wear and Tommy Hilfiger in Canada. In 1994, Phil met Peter and Patty Duke, when the Duke’s had the crazy idea of wool ski socks.
